Tree House Books has been at the same location on the Plaza in downtown Ashland, Oregon, since it was established in 1978. We are so happy to be located across from beautiful Lithia Park and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival Theaters.

We invite you to enter our store and experience the magic and wonder of our hand-picked selection of books, specially chosen for our unique and ever-expanding collection. We specialize in children's books for infants to young adults, and we have added a small selection of our favorite best-sellers for adults as well.

Tree House Books strives to inspire our customers to read more good books and to continue learning more about our amazing universe. It is also our goal to bring more joy and whimsy into our customers' lives through the other products that we offer, which include a fun collection of silk & bamboo kites, toys, stationary, puzzles & games and t shirts. Some of our featured brands include eeBoo, Gund, Mudpuppy and Peaceable Kingdom.

Community Events

Every First Friday of every month, Tree House hosts a party for all fairies, pirates, elves, gnomes, pixies etc. and etc., called "First Friday Artwalk Imagination Celebration". Fairy face-painting, fortune-telling, crafts, author book readings, pick-your-own-discount, and a parade at the end!
